Based on a design by MC Escher, five uniquely shaped ceramic tiles join together to make an overall square shape. The original positives came from 3d models created in Blender then CnC milled into wood using a Precix 3-axis mill. Later, plaster molds were poured around the wood positives and porcelain poured into the plaster. In total, 16 tiles were poured from the plaster molds, with the capacity to make many more.
